1. A "Mania" Journey (Tabi)
It’s not just about visiting tourist spots. We want to provide deep, essential experiences that a true enthusiast (a "mania") would seek out. That is the root of the word "ManiTabi."
Above all, we aim to connect you with the unadorned, authentic daily lives of the local people.
We believe that these very experiences expose us to new values and perspectives, ultimately broadening the horizons of our own lives.

2. The Two Meanings of "Ma" – "真" and "間"
The single syllable "Ma" in ManiTabi carries the meaning of two different Japanese characters.
The first is "真" (Shin/Ma), meaning truth or reality. We want to deliver true, genuine experiences that move people's hearts. In English, it means delivering an "authentic" experience.
The second is "間" (Ma), meaning space, pause, or margin. A journey with room to breathe, not one packed with tight schedules. Instead of a jam-packed tour trying to hit as many tourist spots as possible, we aim for a journey where you can deeply savor each activity. We want to create trips where that extra "space" allows you to reflect on yourself.
3. มานี่ (Maa nii) – Come Here
The third origin is layered into the sound of the Thai language. In Thai, "มานี่" (Maa nii) means "Come here."
In an age where you can watch videos from all over the world with just a smartphone, we want you to intentionally step foot on the ground and experience it with your own five senses.
We want you to gain emotions, thoughts, realizations, and learnings that are uniquely yours—creating memories that will last a lifetime. Furthermore, we hope this experience serves as a catalyst to reawaken your dormant curiosity, becoming the first step in your next new challenge. That is the kind of experience we create.
