KIRI Hotel was created by a design and management team with over 20 years of experience in hotel design, bringing together traditional and contemporary aesthetics in a beautiful boutique setting.

The hotel features an outdoor pool, a bar, and a lounge — and guests can enjoy Italian and French cuisine along with classic and original cocktails while taking a dip in the pool.

Located right in the heart of Chiang Mai, KIRI Hotel is just a 5-minute walk from Tha Phae Gate, making it an excellent base for exploring the city.

The staff speak fluent English and are incredibly friendly and helpful.

Room at KIRI Hotel

The rooms at KIRI Hotel are designed around the concept of rest in a natural, relaxing environment. Room types range from Standard to Deluxe Balcony Rooms, catering to solo travelers, couples, and groups alike.

I stayed in the Standard Twin Room. The soft lighting and sophisticated color palette show the thoughtful attention to detail throughout the property.

The bathroom is spotlessly clean.

All necessary amenities are fully provided.

This is the view from the window side of the room. At 26 m², it's very comfortable.

From the room, you can even enjoy a view of the pool.

Breakfast at KIRI Hotel

One of the highlights of staying at KIRI Hotel is the breakfast — available for an additional 200 THB. Honestly, I wasn't expecting much, but it far exceeded my expectations.

Breakfast is served on the 4th-floor balcony, where you can enjoy a buffet of freshly baked bread and seasonal fruits alongside hot made-to-order dishes.

From the balcony, you can soak in the calm morning atmosphere of Chiang Mai's old city.

The à la carte menu includes egg dishes like scrambled eggs and omelettes, avocado toast, pizza, and more.

A generously portioned omelette with ham, bacon, and tomato.

My personal favorite: the avocado toast. Fun fact — avocados are actually grown in northern Thailand!

A hearty bacon cheese bagel sandwich.

Don't forget to try the panna cotta for dessert — it's a must.

Price of KIRI Hotel

We booked the Standard Twin Room through Agoda for 12,000 JPY (approximately 3,000 THB) in mid-February 2024.

Checking recent prices, the rate remains around 3,000 THB. Getting a stylish boutique hotel with a pool for roughly the same price as a small business hotel in Japan is one of the great joys of traveling in Chiang Mai!
