Details
7:00 Meet in Chiang Mai City & Depart
Meet your guide at the pickup point in the city (your hotel or a designated spot). After quick introductions, head for the trailhead — about a 30-minute drive to the foot of the mountain in the cool morning air.
7:30 Start Hiking the Monk's Trail

The trek begins! Climb slowly up the red-earth path, listening to the quiet of the forest and the singing of the birds.

The route’s name, the “Monk’s Trail,” comes from the path monks once walked for their training. Even beginners can walk it with confidence.
8:15 Arrive at Wat Pha Lat: explore freely & rest

You arrive at Wat Pha Lat, standing quietly in the forest.

Stone stairways, moss-covered Buddha statues, the sound of flowing water — everything here is otherworldly, a mystical place where people say time itself seems to stand still.

Pay your respects at Wat Pha Lat and let your mind settle.
9:00 Resume the Hike (Some Steep Sections)

Back on the trail. The second half follows a somewhat steeper route.

As you near the summit, the views gradually open up and the anticipation builds.
10:15 Arrive at Doi Suthep temple: pay respects & enjoy the view

At last, you reach the goal: Wat Phra That Doi Suthep!

Pay your respects at the golden chedi, then take a break at the viewpoint overlooking all of Chiang Mai.

A quiet sense of achievement and freshness fills your heart.

The tour ends at the departure point or near a hotel of your choice.
