About Doi Inthanon
Doi Inthanon, located in Chiang Mai, is Thailand’s tallest mountain at 2,565 meters.
It’s part of a national park and is connected to the Himalayan mountain range.
Itinerary
- 8:30 Meet in Chiang Mai and depart.
- 10:15 Begin the 2.6 km Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Trek (approx. 2 hours).
- 12:15 Transfer to lunch.
- 13:15 Lunch at Kao Mai Lanna Restaurant.
- 14:30 Return to Chiang Mai.
- 15:30 Tour ends in Chiang Mai.

Detailed Itinerary
8:30 Meet and Depart
We’ll pick you up from your hotel or a designated location in Chiang Mai.
Travel to Doi Inthanon in a private van, with a short restroom break along the way.
10:15 Trekking on the Pha Dok Siew Waterfall Trail
This 2.6 km trail takes around 2 hours.
The path follows a gentle downhill route alongside a flowing river.
Breathing in the fresh forest air will refresh your body.
There are several waterfalls along the trail, the most spectacular of which is Phadokusiao Waterfall.
Along the way, you’ll pass several waterfalls, including the magnificent Pha Dok Siew Waterfall—ideal for photos.
Towards the end of the trail, admire the stunning terraced rice fields.
In the latter half of the rainy season (August to September), you can see lush green rice, and during the harvest season (October to mid-November) you can see golden ears of rice.
The trek ends at Mae Klang Luang Village, home to Karen and Hmong communities, where you can enjoy freshly brewed coffee made from local beans.
12:15 Transfer to Lunch
Relax in the van as we head to lunch.
13:15 Lunch at Kao Mai Lanna Restaurant
Savor classic Thai dishes and modern fusion cuisine in a chic, renovated warehouse setting.
The stylish interior and cozy atmosphere make this a great spot to unwind after your trek.
14:30 Return to Chiang Mai
After lunch, travel back to the city.
15:30 Tour Ends
We’ll drop you off at your hotel or the meeting point.
